The Kraken Sonar Dr. F. Mary Williams Memorial Award in Ocean Technology 2019

Ms. Katelyn Jordan is a third year student within the Ocean Mapping program at the Marine Institute in St. John’s, Newfoundland and is this year’s recipient of “The Kraken Sonar Dr. F. Mary Williams Memorial Award in Ocean Technology”. Faculty and the Marine Institute have described Ms. Jordan as someone who has consistently demonstrated a positive work ethic and professionalism, is a strong student within all ocean mapping cohorts in terms of academic ability as well as technological literacy and competency. This award is only available to women studying in the field of ocean technology. Congratulations Katelyn, keep up the great work.
